OSBoxes – Virtual Machines for VirtualBox & VMware

  • The VM version uses 64-bit Linux, which means it can be used to run OMNotebook on OSX machines (where OMNotebook is normally not available). The 'openmodelica' user has password 'openmodelica'. Pre-build Docker images of installed OpenModelica for different purposes are available on DockerHub, see https://hub.docker.com/u/openmodelica.
  • It is a free and powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product available for most of the operating systems such as Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris and ported version for FreeBSD.
