Steam Golden Week Sale 2021's Details
According to GameRant's latest report, the upcoming huge game sale of Steam could take place on Apr. 29 until May 6. However, Steam's official store website stated that the upcoming Golden Week Sale will start on Apr. 30 up to May 6.
Since the start dates are just one day apart, this will not be a big deal if ever it begins on Apr. 29 or 30. On the other hand, the game publisher also stated that it will start at exactly 10:00 a.m. PST.

Refunding a Game From Steam
There are some players that might have already purchased one of the games on the list. However, there's one way you can do to decrease its price.
All you need to do is refund the game you purchased and buy it again once the Steam Golden Week Sale 2021 arrives. Reddit user u/Bodomi provided a simple guide you can follow.
The first thing you need to do is don't play the game you purchased since Steam won't refund it if you have already used it for more than two hours.
On the other hand, you also need to check if your purchase period is more than 14 days. The game publisher will not refund it if it is more than that.
Once you already checked it, all you need to do is use your Steam account to contact the game publisher's customer service. If it is approved, you will have to wait for around 7 days before you can get your money back.

As SteamDB points out, Chinese New Year 2021 starts on February 12, so the dates make sense. While a start time was not given, Steam sales usually start around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
